A Study of Anger and Anger Expression in Headache Patient

Abstract
Purpose
This study was performed to investigate the level of state anger, trait anger, and mode of anger expression, and find out the relationship among study variables in headache patient.
Methods
The subjects consisted of 113 headache patient. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires which were constructed to include Spielberger's STAX 1(State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory). The data were analyzed by the SPSS/WIN. program.
Results
State anger, trait anger, anger in, and anger out of headache patient positively related pain frequency of them. The anger control of headache patient negatively related pain frequency of them.
Conclusion
Therefore nursing intervention for reducing anger in, anger out and improving anger control should be provided for headache patient.
